Looks like we will get the house after all...

I've been very hesitant to post anything about this since we've had sooo many problems. It's amazing what lengths people will go to get a deal done when you yank your contract... The sellers came back and said they'd split the lower appraised value difference. So we wrote up a new contract with a price of $16K less than we originally contracted for. Our bank ordered a non-standard second desk review with a totally different company. That review came back at our original contracted home price, so essentially we're getting the house now for $16,000 less! Funny how things turn out. So that almost makes the hassle worth it. (almost). We're all set to close on our condo on Monday at 10:30 and we should be closing on Monday afternoon on the house as well. We're not getting too excited until the keys are in our hands because you just never know what may happen, right? So anyway, that's good news for now at least. :) I'll post any updates.
